This is a little girl from Khowarib village, which is up inNorthern Namibia in the Kunene region.We stopped at this village to buy provisions to take to the Himbapeople. All the children were on school holidays & came crowding round the one tiny village store to see what we were doing. We bought them some packets of biscuits which were very quickly ‘gobbled up’ with great relish. This little girl was such an attractive outgoing personality in her brightly coloured clothing & hairstyle, that she truly looked like “A Little Gem” in that dry, dusty, rocky & remote area.
